We had a eventful day on the 4Th this year. We went to the the lake and took the boat out. The weather was nice in the morning and the weather guy said a chance scattered showers. All the guys went out on the boat and then it started to hail, marble sized... All the women were on the beach they left the boat canopy so we set it up and all got under it. After it stopped the guys were back and we went on the boat for a while until it started up again 10 times harder and even more rain came with the hail this time we sheltered the kids and much as we could. Now we there all cold and wet. After all the hail let up we all headed out. on the way home the rain started back up and didn't stop till morning all the firework shows were canceled.but all in all we all had allot of fun still.

Swing Gavin

We went to the park on Tuesday. Gavin had alot of fun climbing on the jungle gym, sliding down the slide(the little one he wouldn't go down the big curly one) and he loves the swing he didn't stop laughing the whole time. But that sand, he got his hands on it and just kept putting it on his hair.

Hawaii

Birthday trip to Hawaii

John and I went to the island of Kauai for my 25th Birthday. We left on Friday night to LA spent to night.My friend in Hawaii text me in the middle of the night and said there was a tsunami warnings and told us we better still come. Are flight was 2 hours delayed because of the tsnami warnings. When we did finally get there the weather was great to waves were big bet the tsunami didn't really do anything. The first day we went sight seeing a little. Went and saw a blow hole, picked mandarin oranges and watched to sunset.The second day we went up in the mountains and saw the waterfalls. Later that day we went on a whale watching sunset cruise around the island saw whales, turtles,sharks and dolphins. They stop at the beach where they filmed fantasy island and served dinner and watch the sunset.On the third day we took a hike throw tall grass to get to a lagoon where there was a waterfall and rope swing. It was to cold to swim so we did not jump in. After we went to a luau ate pig from a pit and watched a show. The forth day was swimming day I went snorkeling and we had a picnic by the ocean and got sun burned. Took the red eye out that night to lax where we connected to Denver the next morning. We Were so tired that morning but I still went to work when we got back.The Trip was great had a awesome Birthday can't wait to go again.

First Day:

The Blow Hole

Second Day:

In the mountain looking at pretty waterfalls but it was super windy.

On the cruise the waves were really big because of the tsunami and it a really windy and chilly but it was still really fun.

There were about 15 dolphins that swam along side of the boat it was awesome.

Third day:

There were peacocks at the luau this one just keep spreading his feathers trying the get the females attention but it was just not working but he put on a good show for us.
